Dr. Sony Rauthan was born in Rudraprayag and completed her schooling in Pauri. From an early stage of her academic journey, she developed a strong interest in learning, teaching, and conceptual clarity, especially in research methodology, biostatistics, and evidence-based medical education. She completed her Ayurveda Acharya (B.A.M.S.) from Gurukul Ayurvedic College and is currently pursuing Ayurveda Vachaspati (M.D. in Kayachikitsa) from Rishikul Campus under Uttarakhand Ayurved University. She has a keen academic interest in research, biostatistics, and evidence-based Ayurveda, has presented research papers at national and international seminars, and published articles in peer-reviewed indexed journals. She is also the author of Applied Basics of Kayachikitsa for postgraduate Ayurveda scholars.
