Samudra (Dr. Sudha Mahadevan) is an obstetrician and gynecologist with nearly three decades of experience in medicine, and a lifelong storyteller who weaves together myth, psychology, and modern realities. She is the author of five published books across poetry, fiction, nutrition, and women’s empowerment, including An August Awakening and Letters to a Friend’s Daughter.

Drawing on her deep fascination with the human mind and her love for mythology, Samudra crafts narratives that explore resilience, justice, and the complexity of human choices.
