Dr. Sunil Kumar Jena, MD Physiology, obtained his MBBS degree from MKCG Medical College, Berhampur, Odisha in 2005. He joined Odisha Medical Health Service under Odisha Government and served for public in rural areas of Odisha. He joined MD Physiology in 2011 at VSS Medical College Burla Odisha and completed MD in 2014. He is associated with physiology discipline since a decade and presently working as Associate Professor in Department of Physiology VIMSAR (previously named as VSS MC), Burla Odisha. He has outstanding contribution in the field of research. He has published 46 research papers, 1 book chapter and 1 book for DMLT & DMRT students, 1 book for MBBS students. He has peer reviewed about 50 manuscripts and associated as editorial team member in 5 journals. He achieved “Professor Niranjan Bishnupriya Award” of Association of Physiologists of Odisha in 2016, 2018 and 2022 for best scientific paper presentation.
