The manual is the first of its kind in the Indian neurodiversity scenario. Unlike the Western manuals available in the market, this gives a wider perspective on how to teach social reasoning as multiple cognitive aspects have been put together for the child. It focuses not only on understanding emotions and situations; it looks at reading contextual cues as well.
The parent/therapist has been given instructions at the start of every section. It can be used with children who are having receptive language skills of 5 years or more. Regardless of the age at which you use this manual, it will be a good idea to go through it before you introduce the next level of social reasoning (coming soon in Book 2).
