Dr. Venkat Potana is a pastor, theologian, missiologist, professor, and author with more than 30 years of ministry and teaching experience across India and the United States. He holds a Ph.D. in Theology and Missiology, along with advanced studies in intercultural studies, philosophy, social work, and divinity. A prolific writer, he has published over 45 books on theology, missions, family, and discipleship, and has served as professor in respected theological institutions as well as presented research at international conferences. His works are widely used to equip students, pastors, and leaders around the world.
Beyond scholarship, Dr. Potana has appeared on Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) and other platforms to share his testimony, reflect on cultural issues, and highlight his ministry of contextualized engagement. His passion is to mentor the next generation, strengthen families, and empower churches to live out their mission in Christ. He lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife Rita and their children, together embodying a testimony of faith, mission, and Christ-centered service.
