About the Author

Dr. Venkat Potana is a theologian, missiologist, and author with over three decades of experience in teaching, training, and Christian leadership. With a Ph.D. in Theology and Missiology, and advanced degrees in Missions, Social Work, and Religion & Philosophy, his ministry has spanned both India and the United States. He has served as a professor, pastor, missionary, and mentor, with a special emphasis on university student outreach and leadership development. His passion for evangelism and discipleship has shaped the lives of many across Bible colleges, churches, and mission fields.
A prolific author with more than 35 books available on Amazon, Dr. Potana writes to equip the Body of Christ in areas of theology, missions, family, and leadership. He currently serves with TEEM International and travels across the U.S. as an itinerant evangelist, while also mentoring theology students through the Oxford Centre for Religion and Public Life. Based in Dallas, Texas, he shares his ministry journey with his wife, Rita, and their three children—Sophia, Lydia, and Ashish—committed to advancing God’s Kingdom through teaching, writing, and compassionate service.
