The present book "Physical Geography: A Systematic Approach" is an outcome of understanding and augmentation of thought in the field of Physical Geography I acquired in the last two decades of my learning and teaching experience. The present volume is a state-of-the-art scientific field that focuses on the overlap between physical geography and systematic approach to deal with the subject.
Physical geography is a multifaceted discipline encompassing various aspects of Earth's physical environment, including landforms, climate, vegetation, and ecosystems. This branch of geography explores the processes and patterns that shape the Earth's surface, as well as the interactions between the atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere, and biosphere. By examining the natural systems and phenomena that occur on our planet, physical geography provides valuable insights into the dynamics of Earth's environment and the impacts of human activities.
Physical Geography as a subject is offered right from the schools to the Post Graduate Level and beyond in the Colleges and Universities. An attempt has been made here in this book to cover almost all possible topics encompassing Lithosphere, Hydrosphere and Atmospheric phenomenon. I hope this book will be useful for the learners of geography discipline. I would welcome suggestions from the professionals, teachers and of course learners, which may help me in revising the book.
