This book is authored by Ashuntha Pereira Monteiro, also known as Ashuntha Pereira Gantalkatte or just A P Monteiro. She has authored several books and articles in Konkani, Kannada, English and Tulu languages. She has written and staged two Konkani plays, ‘Canadaso Comblo,’ and ‘Konnachem Aikonchem?’ ‘Bessaun Anim Her Kotha’ was her first collection of short stories released in 2005. One of her stories, ‘Parath Seere (Old Sari)’ won second prize by Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy in 2001.
