Description

Augmentation of productivity of micro or small goat entrepreneurship through adaptation of sustainable practices and advanced marketing management strategies to double the farmer’s income is a format of a proposal of the project for application of grants from different funding agencies.
The project is aimed to double the income of the farmers in India by developing goat husbandry as the entrepreneurship. The proposed project is aimed not only to improve but also to sustain the improved lifestyle of the goat farmers. The following objectives have been identified:
To develop intention of becoming micro or small goat entrepreneur among the farmers under study.
To augment productivity of micro or small goat entrepreneur through adaptation of sustainable practices.
To add value to the goat products to explore increased profits.
To adapt advanced marketing management strategies to get better profit from micro or small goat enterprise.

About the Author

Prof. Awadhesh Kishore is currently working as the Professor, School of Agriculture, Sanskriti University, Chhata, Mathura. He is a renowned animal nutritional professional having three decades of experience in the domain of academics, research, training, quality assurance, extension and consulting.
Prof. Kishore has developed Buffer Feed Technology (BFT) to increase content of fat in goat and cross-bred cow milks without any depression in daily milk yield under the research projects sponsored by the Government of India (through CSIR, New Delhi) and the Government of Uttar Pradesh (UPCST, Lucknow). His achievement was honoured by conferring the Young Scientist Award of Bioved Research Society in 2002.
During 2016-19 Prof. Awadhesh Kishore has served Ministry of Education, Government of the State of Eritrea (North-East Africa) as Professor Animal Nutrition.
