In the great epic Mahabharata war, Arjuna, the mighty archer of Pandava clan, became depressed when he stood in the middle of the battlefield of Kurukshetra. He overwhelmed by the remorse of losing his near and dear ones in the battle. He feared and trembled while thinking about the result of the war. He didn’t want to be the cause of the deadliest war. He didn’t want to be a sinner as well. At the same time, he would want to flee from the battlefield.
As a result, Arjuna lost his self-believe, self-confidence, self-discipline and self-reliance. He became depressed. Then, he fell down at the feet of Lord Krishna to rescue him from his mental tussles and depressions.
Lord Krishna came forward, held Arjuna’s hands, and enlightened him.
