This book is a humble effort by the author of translating Prakrit and Hindi text of Jain Awashyak Sutra(Sthanakwasi Shrawak Pratikraman ) in English. This way the message of Jinvani can be spread among youngstirs also.Originally Awashyak Sutra was given in Prakrit, but with the changing time and languages , it has been a tradition to replace some of the text of Prakrit to local language to the Awashyak Sutra. Resultantly we have Gujaratiand Hindi versions of Awashyak Sutra.Need of an English Pratikraman was felt for the next generation of Jain followers . In big cities most of the children who come to sthanakas , their educational background is from English as medium of instruction. Understanding and absorbing difficult Hindi terminology is a reason of disinterest towards Jain rituals amongst them.
