I have lived and worked in five countries ranging from Asia to America. Probably travelled to two dozen countries, even China. I have served in many roles as a physician, public health professional, teacher, student, researcher and traveller. Recently I have developed a new passion for writing and publishing. I am a medical graduate from India and a former F-1 student who joined Masters in Public Health (MPH) at Johns Hopkins University. Traveling is my passion. Other favorite pastimes are listening to soft instrumental music, cooking and surfing the net.

I'm a Practicing doctor, Teacher, Researcher, even an Entrepreneur. I can communicate in five languages. Digging history is my favorite past-time. I am passionate about exploring new places, meeting the natives and learning about their way of life. My job took me to three continents on the planet and globe trotted most of the big cities. I have loved reading and writing, fiction, non-fiction, biographies, auto-biographies etc. since my formative years. Gardening, painting, furniture designing and listening to jazz and country music are my hobbies. I am a foodie, at heart and have a flair for cooking too. I will be writing in English, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Bengali in topics ranging from Science to History, Medicine to Biography and Fiction to Non-fiction under the pen-name “Rayan Satish”.
