Prof. Dr. Shweta D. Vegad is a Professor of Music, Vocalist, and Poet — an Indian classical musician, and composer. She holds the titles of Sangeet Alankar and Doctorate in Music, and serves as a research guide at Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University. She is also an examiner for the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai, and currently teaches at Rewaben Manoharbhai Patel Mahila Kala Mahavidyalaya, Bhandara.
Her creative journey moves beautifully between music and poetry. In her bandishes, she brings together words, rhythm, and melody to express deep feelings and devotion. Rooted in the tradition of Indian classical music, she aims to inspire young learners to love, respect, and practice this art with dedication.
