Currently Mrs. T.Muthukumari is an Associate professor and Head of the department in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Jeppiaar Institute of Technology, Chennai. She has 16 years of Teaching Experience. She handled various electrical and electronics subjects like Electrical Machines, Control Systems Engineering, and Electromagnetic field theory, Electronics circuits I Electronics circuits II, Measurements & Instrumentation, Digital signal processing, and Transmission lines etc. She has also presented papers in various national, International conferences and journals. Her research area involves Renewable energy, Power electronic converters, and controllers.

With a teaching background of more than seven years and a doctorate in Renewable energy and Power systems, Dr. Prajith Prabhakar currently works as an academician in Electrical & Electronics department at Jeppiaar Institute of Technology, Chennai. He has eminent experience in the field of Research as well as teaching. He is the author of several journals published at National and International platforms. He has presented papers on Microgrid technology in International Science and Technology congress at Hong Kong. The core subjects undertaken by him includes Electromagnetic theory, High Voltage Engineering, Various subjects in Power systems and Power converters, Digital Signal Processing and Logic design. He has successfully completed various funded research projects in the field of Power systems. At present he is working on a project that aims to mitigate the various power quality issues in Microgrid and Smart Grid. His research interests are Power systems and FACTS devices, Power quality, Renewable energy and Smart grid.
