About the Author

Dr. V Masilamani is an odd (or even?!) combination of physicist, poet, philosopher and novelist: a PhD from IIT(M); author of 8 US patents on various applications of lasers; 90 research papers and 12 books in physics, poetry and philosophy (in English and Tamil).
He won the Distinguished Scientist Award from Prince Naïf, the Home Minister of KSA in 2008 and became the KSU Research Chair Professor in Laser Diagnosis of Cancers in King Saud University, Riyadh. Earlier, he was the Head of the Center for laser technology, Anna Univ, Chennai.
