Sant’ Ambrogio della Massima is a convent still existing in Rome. In 1998, by order of Pope John Paul II, the Vatican started allowing outsiders research the Vatican Archives. Sant’ Ambrogio della Massima’s history then came to light. On record are the psychological abuse, as well as the sexual, carried out by priests and nuns living in the monastery.
This is Anna's story who escaped the monastery in 1859 while four months pregnant. Her dying wish to her granddaughter was to revenge her. In 1974, finally a trace leads back to 1859, making it able to Anna's decendants to fulfill her dying wish at last.
