Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transitioned from a specialized domain
of computer science into a pervasive and multidisciplinary field
influencing education, healthcare, finance, governance, and countless
other sectors. The past two decades have seen exponential growth in
AI research, particularly in the domains of machine learning, natural
language processing, computer vision, robotics, and ethical
frameworks. These developments demand not only technical mastery
but also critical reflection on their social, ethical, and philosophical
implications.
The motivation for writing this book stems from the recognition that
scholars, practitioners, and policymakers require resources that
combine technical clarity with contextual insight. My aim has been to
create a text that is accessible to graduate students, educators, and
researchers, while also serving as a reference for professionals and
decision-makers navigating the AI-driven transformation of society.
It’s with great happiness that, I would like to acknowledge a great
deal of people that get helped me extremely through the entire
difficult, challenging, but a rewarding and interesting path towards
some sort of edited book without having their help and support, none
of this work could have been possible. This book would not have been
possible without the encouragement and support of my family,
colleagues and friends who continually inspired me to pursue
knowledge with commitment and humility. I am also grateful to my
institution and professional community, whose feedback and
collaboration enriched my thinking.
I invite you to approach this book as a journey through evolving ideas.
May it spark reflection, dialogue, and innovation in your own work
and life
