It is very difficult to discuss all the poems in single page write up. The author has thrown much light on the Covid Pandemic . From giving a warning to ‘cunning humanity’ in her poem “Rumination” to predicting the future world, these poems seem to have come out from a sincere yearning for the betterment of nature and humanity. Many of the thoughts and ideas expressed at a very early stage of the pandemic show her forethought which a true poet possesses. They display her excellent command over language by her use of appropriate vocabulary coupled with sweet rhyme and great expressions. She has also displayed her all round abilities by touching various subjects, various aspects of the same subject besides dwelling on different emotions.
Some poems are really heart-wrenching and one will surely go into deep introspection. In some she has infused huge wave of positivity. Writing a poem with normal terms like sanitizer, mask and soap and getting a great poetic flavour while maintaining the funny aspect of it is not an easy thing which she did with ease. Extraordinary poems like the ones written with scientific terms, on investing in stock markets, on divide between poor and rich, on starting her car and driving through, on attending office under the new Normal, on downturn of economies, on the new warfare strategy etc. display rich variety in her thoughts and her ability to mould any thought into an exquisitely carved out poem. When she wrote a poem even on her blank state of mind it appeared like she can create a poem out vacuum like a magician creates objects from air. Her poem, “My dream”, is full of refreshing thoughts and that poem literally transports us to another world. The poem, “I miss you so much…..” would make every one universally identify with the situation and feel the pain. She also went philosophical and addressed the question “ Who am I” in her own poetic style.
