Lorn in the forest is a quixotic novel about the young lad, Umar and his love Alyanna. The lad stifles his business odyssey and sojourns at a small village where he falls in love with a fish wife, Alyanna. Due to his work he has to move from the village. He promises Alyanna to return and when he'll return, he will ask for her hand. Both dispel and wait to constellate with each other. But when they do constellate, they are baffled how things have transmuted since they last saw each other. So many encumbrances in their way of being together. Under new and tougher circumstances one thing that stayed the same was the love they had for each other. They promise to encounter everything stifling them from becoming one.
