The third book in the Mulligan trilogy. Mulligan started off somewhere in North America as a counselor but got involved in a mystery case in the first book, Swimming in Mulligan Stew. He also regards himself as a hobo having traveled many places in the past including India. In the second book, Murder in the Caymans, Mulligan travels to the Cayman Islands and Jamaica for a vacation but soon becomes involved in a murder mystery. In Missing in India, Mulligan comes out of retirement to travel to India to search for a missing Western traveler thought to be in the Kulu Valley.
