Description

How often we come across beautiful flowers as we pass by a garden. As we spend some quiet moment in the laps of mother nature, we seek immense tranquility and peace by observing the wonderful flowers that makes us feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Few are able to put that in expression and research more on the flowers' names, their quality, their purpose in prayer offerings, or their value in the world of medicines. 'Phula Maucchaba' is a record collection of 65 different and unique flowers that the poetess 'Smt. Alaka Daspatnaik' has written about covering their beauty, their essence and their daily usage. While many flowers in this collection are commonly found, the collection also covers many rare or lesser-known species of flowers that have a sizeable impact on human life.
The poetess has beautifully covered these different varieties of flowers in her poetic beaty in the Odia language. She sincerely hopes that it touches the heart of the Odia readers or those who can understand the rich and cultural language of Odisha in India.
