The book is an exposé on the internal corrupt practices in the most respected corporate house in India which, in public perception, is an epitome of ethical business conduct. The book is not about corruption in high places or the daily encounters with public offices. It is also not about the high level corruption that companies indulge in while dealing with the Government.
Except for the last 10%, it is a true story, told in a novel format, of the plight of an ambitious but idealistic middle class man in India who fights a losing battle with corporate corruption and politics. Narrated in first person, the story traces the life of the protagonist from pre birth to death. In the process, corruption as a concept is proposed to be redefined.
