In late 19th-century Paris, during the presidency of Félix Faure, three British agents—Sidney Orebar, Moira Hunter, and Liza Hart—uncover a secret conspiracy orchestrated by a powerful shadow organization known as the Illuminati. Disguised within elite society, the group plans to assassinate the French president at the opera to destabilize France and shift the balance of power in Europe.

Racing against time, the agents use period espionage techniques—telegraph interception, coded messages, and covert surveillance—to track the plot. With the reluctant cooperation of French authorities, they infiltrate the opera house on the night of the attack. There, Moira confronts a deadly assassin from her own past, while Sidney exposes a traitor within the police and Liza sabotages the environment to prevent the assassination.

Although they succeed in saving the president, the agents realize the conspiracy runs far deeper than expected—setting the stage for an even greater threat looming over Europe.
