The coming of age of a sexually abused girl.
Zuni appears to be a normal woman, exuding zest and enthusiasm. However, beneath the surface she hides an invisible wound – gash so deep and painful that she is constantly battling against them becoming her identity. She was sexually abused when she was only 4 years old. She continues to struggle with coming to terms with the horrific incident, the shame, guilt and pain.
When she seeks professional help, her counsellor suggests that she is a woman trapped in a man's body. Incensed at such a callous and insensitive remark, she stops meeting her counsellor and begins the daunting task of seeking closure by herself. Follow Zuni's journey as a chance meeting with other people awakens her inner warrior and enables her to do what she has always wanted to.
