When COVID 19 pandemic started, I was working with Norwegian Refugee Council as an Education Officer at Cox’sBazar Rohingya Response in Bangladesh. I have already finished establishing some 26 learning centers for Rohingya youth in camps 10&13. Teachers were trained and operation had been started. But pandemic halted everything. As a responsible officer, we were given responsibility to develop distance curriculum for the young learners. During this assignment, to understand distance education, I started studying the theories on distance education and it’s applicability in a humanitarian response. I studied many documents and articles. Later I bring all my learning in some of my papers. This is one of them. My friends suggested me to give it a book form. So the book is now at your hands.

About the Author

With a BA (honors) in English Language & Literature and an MA in English Language Teaching, the Author writes in English, Chittagonian, Rohingya, Bangla and Arabic. At present, he is a PhD researcher in Buddhist Studies at LBU, Nepal. He is the Editor of TOT World, and Law, Policy & Geopolitics; and CEO of NMKZ Group.
He has some international certifications, these are PMP (PMI, USA), SRMP (Country & Regional Level) from INSSA-USA, CPMS & CPgMS from CAP-UK, and he has completed five DPro certifications (PMDPro, PgMDPro, FMDPro, MEALDPro, & Social Good DPro) from the PM4NGOs, USA. He has completed five PGDs (PGDPM, PGDLSCM, PGDHRM, PGDRCM, & PGDMEAL) from edupro, UK. He has a diploma in primary education from Asian College for Teachers, Thailand, a diploma in Christian theology from Bangladesh Bible Correspondence School, a diploma in Arabic studies from Resalah Academy, Bangladesh & a diploma in project management from Brentwood Open Learning College, UK. He earns professional certificates in organizational development (CAP, UK), project management technology and monitoring & evaluation (ABP, BD), early childhood development (ICHD, BD), and basic psychology (IRTD, BD).
He was born in Ujinatia Union (Sutasura village-Thandar Para) under Pekua Upazila of Cox’sBazar District (Chittagong Division) in Bangladesh on 28th of October in the year of 1988. He passed SSC from Pekua Model Government GMC Institute in 2003 (science group) & HSC from Chittagong College in 2005 (humanities group).
