‘Race against My Past’
How far can you go to prove your love? Or precisely just to get your Love? Travel miles, bunk exams, screw your job, fight to splash the blood around... etc etc. Everything sounds filmy. Isn’t it...?
Unlike all this, ‘Race against My Past’ is a realistic eternal love story which revolves around a mundane with a perfect blend of immense joy and woe
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Juliet and her Romeo
Our merry go round natured Romeo, Yaahi, for whom life was all about theatre, acting and Osheen’s friendship. Our Juliet, ‘Osheen’, an inalienable part of this story.
Being childhood best buddies, they never realised the bond they shared and by the time Yaahi realised, destiny played its trump card against him when Osheen left him imposing a condition to prove his love.
An almost ‘impossible to achieve’ condition worked like a catalyser and a Jerk turned a Lover and so did his non serious attitude. A radio station job, a call centre extravaganza, being a gigolo, hacking down a hacking research lab and blackmailing its chairman and all sorts of routine life pranks, masti and aish... that too with the flavours of Punjab, are some of the features of this roller coaster ride.
A race between love and dream ended when Yaahi got a letter after which no one ever heard his notorious laugh that could cheer you up even in your worst moods.
What condition was placed by Osheen? Where was Osheen when finally he reached his destination? What was the letter all about? And most importantly, what dragged Yaahi to hospital bed?
Answers are hidden in the book; hope you will feel the same thrill, excitement, pain and emotions that we lived while we were jotting it down for you.
