About the Author
Piyush is a young political thinker, grassroots activist, and forensic science student from Rampur Bushahr, Himachal Pradesh. Deeply involved in youth politics, he is known for his active role in student leadership, tree plantation drives, and rural awareness campaigns across the hill state.

Blending regional pride with nationalist ideology, Piyush writes with the clarity of a citizen, the passion of a youth leader, and the insight of a political observer. Hills of Power is his second book, written to give voice to the often-overlooked political landscape of Himachal Pradesh—from ancient Devta traditions to modern-day rallies.

He is also the founder of a youth-driven movement that aims to connect students, villagers, and young leaders with the democratic process—believing that change in India begins not in Delhi, but in its villages and valleys.
