The book is divided into two parts as given below-
Part I : India’s Foreign Relations
Part II : Issues of National Importance
Part I covered the events from around the world be it economic, political, cultural or separatist issue. Although a change in government can change foreign relations upside down, the analysis given in the book covers the relation between the nations and the global events which occurred at the time of writing the book and it is important to note that future consequences of such events cannot be determined in advance. However, the concepts have been explained in such a manner that readers may be able to understand the similar situation if occurs again in future. The examples from the history have been cited at many places to explain the fact that the events happening today have their roots somewhere in the history and are not happening in isolation.
Part II covers the events which happened in the contemporary India, particularly in last two decades. This part covers various issues of national importance for India such as education, agriculture, road transport system, terrorism in J&K etc.
The book shall be helpful for the students who find difficulty in quoting prime examples while mentioning about international relations and national issues while they appear for the examination in their UG/PG course. The book is also useful for the students in their schooling for the subjects which require essay writing. The book also useful enough for civil services examination such UPSC, SSC, UPPSC etc. and other state level examinations.
