Pritis C Majumdar was born at very remote village, Alampur, P.S. Sreenagar, Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh in 1943, the year of historic famine of Bengal during British rule. At about age of four, he had to move to India with his parents and grandma leaving back their ancestral house and properties due to political reasons which caused riot killing about 5-lakhs people and division of Indian sub-continent.
As an Engineer and Manager of Indian Railways (IRSME), he got the scope to travel to gain practical knowledge about the life of major people of India and its neighbour countries. His experiences became more enriched with his formal postgraduate degreein management with specialization in Human Resources Management and Political Science.
