About the Author

Rajiv Mahajan is a mechanical engineer and postgraduate in business administration, with a distinguished career of over 36 years in the Indian Railways, retiring as Additional General Manager of Northeast Frontier Railway in June 2025. Alongside his professional accomplishments, he has nurtured a deep and enduring passion for Lal Kitab astrology, a legacy he inherited from his father, the late Sh. U.C. Mahajan, a noted astrologer and author. Building on this foundation, Rajiv has dedicated himself to presenting the Lal Kitab system with clarity, logic, and practical relevance. His earlier works— Lal Kitab Vol. I: Grammar and Guide to Life’s Domains, Lal Kitab Vol. II: Decoding Planetary Effects in Various Houses and Planetary Indications :Verification through Symptoms—have been appreciated for their structured and accessible approach.
