About the Author

Raju Sreenivasan (born 1978) is an IT professional and Architect with over 20 years of experience in the industry, living in Chennai with his wife and daughter.
Despite being good at Mathematics, Raju confesses he was "not good at finance and managing money". His serious journey into personal finance began later in life, at the age of 42, prompted by the economic uncertainty and layoffs that occurred during the COVID-19 lockdown.

The Financial Journal of a Common Investor is his second book, written to share the practical learnings and disciplined strategies he adopted from 2022 to 2025. He enjoys reading books about Indian mythology, fiction, and finance, drawing specific inspiration from authors like Robert Kiyosaki and Morgan Housel.
