Anulom-Vilom Pranayama improves blood circulation, calms your mind, keeps away from heart-related problems, improves the function of the lungs, prevents diabetes and keeps diabetes under control, removes blockage of arteries, relieves stress depression and hypertension, and cures asthma, headache, migraine, neurological problems, and gastric problems. Anulom-Vilom helps to throw out toxins and cures illnesses of the respiratory tract, boosts the supply of oxygen and purifies blood, prevents the common cold and keeps you away from all diseases. Bhastrika breaks the three knots of granthi: (1) Brahma granthi of the Muladhara; (2) Vishnu granthi of Manipura; and (3) Rudra granthi of Ajna chakra, which relieves inflammation of the throat, increases gastric fire, destroys phlegm, removes diseases of the nose, and cures asthma, stimulates the circulation of cerebral fluid and provides compression and decompression of the brain and heart and blood circulation. Surya Bheda creates heat in the body and counters imbalances of the Vata dosha, activates and stimulates depression, low blood pressure and infertility in women. Surya Bheda delays the onset of old age, or ageing, improves digestion and immunity, opens up the chest cavity and increases respiratory capacity, enhances body temperature, increases the heat of the body, is good for the heart and respiratory system, cleanses the frontal sinuses, and hinders bodily decay and death. Agnisar Pranayama improves the appetite and provides relief from chronic constipation and makes effective functioning of the digestive system, liver or kidneys. Ujjayi Pranayama is very helpful in clearing blocked arteries and regulating cholesterol. It helps with cataracts and sinus problems, Rheumatism and migraine and lowers the risk of heart attacks, prevents thyroid problems and makes the voice sweet and melodious for the singing profession. It improves lisping problems in children and is very helpful in Asthama problem and other respiratory and chest diseases like tuberculosis. Shitali and Shitali restore heat balance in the body, alleviate psycho-somatic disorders, purify the blood, improve digestion, purify the blood, quench thirst and cools the body, reduce high blood pressure and help to cure acidity, indigestion and fever and also reduce the effect of poison and snake bite. Shitali cures colic, (enlarged) spleen, fever, disorders of bile, hunger, thirst, and counteracts poisons or even aspen bite.

About the Author

He is a meritorious, genius and very intellectual person since childhood and is a Mechanical Engineer (1970) from Patna University. He secured the “National Merit Scholarship” of India during Secondary Board Examination. He has had a deep interest in Yoga and Pranayama since childhood. He is deeply committed and involved in Yoga and Pranayama research and development work. Sincerity, deep study and his hobby have put him into use many new techniques and methods for Yoga and Pranayama. He has studied many books and magazines on the subject matter. He is a teacher of Vedic Pranayama and is considered one of the foremost teachers in society. He is practising Pranayama even today. He is born in a poor family in a small village, n India. He was sickly and weak throughout his childhood and struggled with poverty, sickness and malnutrition. At the age of 15, he approached a Yoga teacher and joined the yoga class to improve his health through yoga practice. His technique of Pranayama has inspired many to practice it. He has solutions to most of the disease problems. He thought of the necessity of a consolidated and concise book covering all the different aspects, topics, and benefits of subject matters about Yoga and Pranayama in one place. He has taken a lead in upgrading the process of awareness of various matters benefiting the fresh learner in yoga and Pranayama.
