CONCEPTION OF THE WORLD AND PARTY
On February 24, 1920, the first great public demonstration of our young movement took place. In the hall of the Royal Beer Hall in Munich, the twenty-five theses of the program of the new party were presented to a crowd of nearly two thousand people, and each point was approved amid shouts of agreement and jubilation.
With this were laid down the guidelines and fundamental principles of a struggle aimed at putting an end to the very filth of decrepit conceptions and opinions and to all unclear, indeed harmful, aims. A new force was to be thrown against the lazy and cowardly bourgeois world, against the triumphal march of the Marxist wave, in order to rebalance, at the last hour, the chariot of Destiny. Naturally, the new movement could only hope to acquire the importance and strength necessary for this gigantic struggle, if from the first day it succeeded in awakening in the hearts of its supporters the sacred certainty that it was not giving political life a new electoral slogan but was presenting it with a new conception of the world, founded on eternal principles, and of supreme importance.
