I am retired after spending 54 years working at a variety of things and now serve as the Town of White Creek (New York) historian and archivist. I live in White Creek with Kathy, my wife of 48 years, our dog Lucy, and our cat Spice. Back in ancient times, I graduated from Hudson Valley Community College with an A.A.S. in Automotive Technology, SUNY Oswego with a B.Sc. in Industrial Arts Education, and New Tribes Bible Institute with a certificate in Bible.
My family moved to White Creek when I was two. My parents bought a farm here and I grew up on it and still live on a section of it. My wife and I have also lived in Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, and Wisconsin. I have worked at teaching High School shop, on a grain farm and cattle ranch, in factories, dairies, R&D as a technician, driving school buses, been an ASE certified Master Auto Tech, and as a janitor - among other things. Still don't know what I want to do when I grow up!
Presently I am pursuing photography as a hobby and doing historical research and writing, along with camping as often as possible, and am active in my local church.
