Your babies are finally out and you are home with your new-borns. One thing is for sure, your life will never remain the same again. It is important to get yourself ready for the task ahead most especially if you are a first-time mom (parent). The early months of your baby’s life are very important to both your babies and you. It is important you are set out to give them the best. There is so much to put into the early months of your baby especially when they are 0-6 months. Life your new babes will be slightly different from having a single baby. Everything automatically multiplies itself. With multiple babies, it will require multiple of everything from your path. But don't be alarmed as you and your babies will grow together and that is the beauty of it all.

Basically, your life will revolve round the new born as they would need your presence greatly. Sleeping, eating and playing is all what it would be for your babies this point in their life. As much as you want all the time in the world to relax and rest, the babies are in need of your presence. Spending time with your babies gives them the platform to learn a lot. You don’t need to be scared about giving at all the time to your bundles of joy, they probably will be asleep in most cases. What is important is how you relate with them whilst they are awake.

Many folks are ignorant of the fact that 0-6 months is a rapid learning period for the babes. They pick off on a lot of things as you spend time with them and it is important that equal time is spent with each one of them so they have the same platform of learning. As they see things, hear sounds and have a sense of touch, their brain develops at a very fast rate. Spending time with them at this point in time will make them very familiar with you and they get to know you.

You want to know what the favorite thing is for your babies these early months? The answer is not food neither is it sleep, it is actually your face. As much as they would want to sleep or eat, nothing beats your babies seeing your face. The fun and excitement they would pick at this early stage usually rests in your face. So, don't be too tired to let your babies see that smile and joy in your face. If you pay close attention, you will notice that they can even follow your face with their eyes. The eyes are essentially their major means of communication.

As little as they are, your babies know what attention is and they will try every means of getting absolute attention from you. The default mode they result into when they need you is to cry. This is their primary source of communication at this tender age and it is something you would have to adjust your life to. The cry is not planned, they can occur anytime and in most cases at night. It is appropriate you get yourself ready for this. You might know why your babies are crying (dirty nappy or hunger) and at the same time, you might not know, what is important is that you are ready to comfort and care of them.

Do not forget to look into their eyes, smile at them, play with them, spend time together, give them occasional tummy rubs and also care for them. You and your new born babes are a team.
Nobody is a master at parenting and with each passing day, we learn every day. It is easy to take care of your babies when you are also well taken care off. Give out time to look after yourself as much as you would give to your babies. Because when you are happy, your babies know and they become happy as well.
