About the Author
The author considers himself merely a humble medium for expressing the eternal principles of the Bhagavad Gita in practical life. His earthly name is Subhransu Mohapatra, and his spiritual name, bestowed by his Guru (spiritual master), is Gopal Achyut Das.
By profession, he is an engineer—a Gold Medallist in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli. His professional career spans various leadership roles across several esteemed corporate and public sector enterprises, including Vedanta Ltd., the Birla Group of Companies, JK Paper Group, Rushil Décor Ltd., and NMDC Steel Ltd.
This work is the result of over 25 years of study, reflection, and lived experience, drawing primarily from the Bhagavad Gita, Bhagavata Purana, Ramayana, Mahabharata, and the Ashtadasha Puranas. His insights are shaped not only by ancient scriptures but also by the ideas of modern motivational thinkers such as Dale Carnegie, Napoleon Hill, Stephen Covey, and others in the field of personal excellence.
Currently, while engaged in his worldly duties as an engineer, the author is also dedicated to lifelong service at the Shasanbasini Maa Sarvamangala Temple in Nabarangpur, Odisha. As a life-dedicated devotee of Lord Jagannath, he continuously strives to propagate the Utkaliya Vaishnava tradition and Jagannath culture.
