About This Book Series
This book series is initiated with the objective of connecting the eternal wisdom of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita with today's contemporary lifestyle. The Gita is not merely an ancient scripture, but truly a guide for life. It illuminates our daily struggles, responsibilities, and the quest for self-inquiry.
This book is written for those common readers who wish to understand the Bhagavad Gita but face difficulty due to its complex Sanskrit text and deep philosophical ideas. Therefore, this series primarily emphasizes simple translation, clear concepts, and its practical application. Consequently, no matter what field you are in, you can easily apply the guidance of the Gita in your life.
Many readers find the Gita difficult to comprehend because they feel obligated to memorize every verse . But that is not the primary purpose of the Gita. The Gita teaches us that success, devotion , peace, and liberation are attained only by truly understanding and applying its principles in life.
In this 15-volume series, the first volume focuses particularly on the fundamental principles of the Gita, a direct translation in simple language, and the core dialogue between Sri Krishna and Arjuna. Subsequent volumes will discuss in detail how these principles can be applied to our family, workplace, education, lifestyle, relationships, and spiritual development.
