‘नया बंदा है ...’
This is a softly whispered, often with disdain, statement in a workplace whenever a new guy joins the work force. Invariably around the new entrant develops a field of attraction in which often like minded folks get trapped, or the guy himself gets trapped in the time tested and established norms and belief systems of the work place.
Life goes on and the नया बंदा slowly changes into a पुराना खिलाडी, if he sticks around the same work place, only to welcome the naya bandas in future and wean them into the system. All naya bandas have new ideas, some get acceptance others get rejected in the system into which they get sucked in.
Progress and development of an individual and the system in a work place is all about acceptance and rejection... Some contribute to the system and move on, others quit to move on to try other greener pastures...
