This is a short biography with a collection of document extracts about Dr. Suresh Prasad Sarbadhikari who was an eminent Surgeon of British India during the period of late 19th to early 20th century. He organized the Bengal Ambulance Corps to serve in the Mesopotamia War during World War I, and managed the Carmichael Medical College & Hospital, Calcutta with Dr. Radha Gobinda Kar. He was a renowned expert on Obstetrics and Diseases of Women and Children. In recognition of the services to his country, he was awarded the C.I.E. Companion of the Indian Empire, and appointed as honorary Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Medical Service.
