Corporate Social Responsibility is becoming the new norm of companies worldwide. Some reports show a positive correlation between the following CSR provisions and the goodwill of the company. CSR has evolved to repay the ‘debt’ of the society and environment of which the company uses resources. CSR activities are done in various forms, for example, reducing carbon footprints, using sustainable techniques, funding for a social welfare activity such as hospitals, schools or social campaigns, poverty alleviation, etc. Corporate social responsibility must be incorporated on a larger scale for the betterment of humanity. The current era faces severe environmental as well as social problems such as global warming, depleting ozone layers, mass extinction of animal species, increasing urbanization, poverty, uprising inequality, etc. To curb these problems, we need collective and professional efforts which are fulfilled by CSR activities by companies worldwide. In the following report, we have compiled the CSR trends in 20 countries that are representative and provided comprehensive facts regarding the CSR provisions over there. The laws for corporate social responsibility are not mandatory everywhere. But still, there are provisions about it and most of the countries and the companies voluntarily participate in conducting CSR activities. This is a good sign of hope for our future generation.
