Jagadguru Shankaracharya Nischalananda Saraswati-ji Maharaj is 145th Sankaracharya of Govardhan Math, Puri Peeth. He was appointed to this Peeth as its head by the Shankaracharya Swami Niranjanadeva Tirtha Maharaj on 9th February 1992 (Vikram Samvat 2048). The Shankaracharya of Puri has been travelling far and wide across India to protect sanatana dharma, its values and glories.
