Life takes unexpected turns for the protagonists as they face life head-on to find their way through difficult family relationships, betrayals, workplace challenges and emotional upheavals to emerge stronger and successful in life and, in love.
Moving On encapsulates the experience of the simple but resilient girl – Smriti -- who courageously tries to leave behind her traumatic past and make a life for herself in a big city full of strangers.
After sudden tragic situations turn her life upside down, Smriti is trying to pick up the pieces of her life when she finds love unexpectedly in Rohan, her boss. Opposites attract but Smriti is not able to reciprocate his love. Why does she always withdraw into a shell? What is she hiding from him? Does she have dark secrets hidden in her past? To forge a relationship with Rohan, Smriti will have to face her fears and do something that she dreads most – confront her past! Will she be able to do it? Will she find everlasting love and happiness with Rohan? Also, is Rohan able to believe in love anymore?
First time novelist, Jaya Jha, narrates this story of how Smriti makes a new life for herself, adjusting to the corporate world while retaining her simplicity and integrity.
Re: Moving On
One amongst the amazing Love Stories that I have read..
The wonder is, two souls who were known to be hard core selfish by the outer world.. fall selflessly in love.. & their love this time was to no bounds.
Inspite of the hardships life had put them through, they learnt how to trust each other the hard way.
Moving On.. is just not a phrase but a motivation that no matter how worst the past is.. it is never too late to start a new beginning.. & true love helps you to sail through all ups & downs.
Loved the book .. Its worth a read..
