A rare title on Hyderabad
First of all thanks to Kamalakar garu for documenting the social life of old Hyderabad which we rarely come across in Books. The history and coffee table books always depicts splendor of Hyderabad mostly on elite , this book covers how music&art involved in commoners to elite in one word social life of Hyderabad in bygone era.
This book is very much recommended to be a part in academics and to enthusiasts of history .

This is a great book if you are interested in knowing the history of the music & Arts in hyderabad. There is so much I did not about this place & the culture of music here & reading this gave me so much clarity about the informations I have been looking for .Thankyou kamalakar pasupuleti ji for your beautiful contribution. I know Kamlakar ji since 7 years, though I have not met him so far. His knowledge about the Cultural aspects of old Hyderabad state is simply awesome.
I have read this book and find that lot of research has gone into it. Being from Hyderabad state, I enjoyed the nostalgia through this book. I am into my late 70s and many of the things described-the landmarks etc- have been seen by me.
The book will surely be a great help to the students of History and will also.
I strongly recommend this book to those who genuinely want to know more about old history of Hyderabad and for those who want to enjoy the nostalgia.
