Kamaldeep Kour writes under the pen name Saanjh and has turned to poetry long before she ever thought of becoming an author. Writing began as a personal refuge, and for years her poems remained private, never intended to be published.

Alfaaaz is her first book—her first step into sharing that inner world. Written in Hindi (Devanagari) and Hinglish, it reaches readers who feel the language even if they do not read the script. These poems are close to her heart: imperfect, sincere, and deeply personal, carrying emotions many silently share.
