This book has been written by a 13 year old girl and I'm amazed by the moral it holds. I mean it takes us adults to realize that we are enough by ourselves. People are so harsh on themselves to be seen as perfect, to match up the standard the society has set. They try to get a certain body type, life style, they try to fit in. And it's not pathetic, it's just so sad. It honestly takes so much to be brave enough to accept our own flawed-selves. To be ourselves and be confident about it.

Reading about this from a little girl is just so precious.
The illustrations were beautiful. And the story used to convey this important message is just brilliant.

Moral story

This is a story of a turtle that was abandoned by its fellow mates for being different.
Avocado, the she-turtle was outspoken and often came out of her shell unlike others. The turtle community forced her to leave their territory and to never come back. The disheartened turtle then finds a giraffe that seemed to be nice with her. He introduced her to the other friends in the jungle who were equally chirpy and happy in their own ways. They made her realize her worth and that she is perfect with the trait she possesses.
Child bullying is one of the most important factors in shaping one's psychology. A child’s mental and emotional health is determined by the overall behaviour and approach received in childhood. So, it is a must to take care of these delicate things by infusing positivity through a healthy environment.
With this book, our little author has taken the initiative to spread all the good and wise things among the readers.

It's okay to be different

This is the story of a turtle named Avocado. Avocado was a turtle who stood-out in the turtle community because she liked to talk with others and have fun unlike the others. So, she was said to be a bad example and was cast out. That's when she met Lemonade the giraffe, Bacon the pig and Honey the bee. They were like her and accepted her for who she was. Avocado later understood that it was okay to be different.
Starting from the book cover, all the illustrations in the book are beautiful and connect with the story. The parallel illustrations for every few lines in the book are child-friendly. Accordingto me, the most important aspect in a children's book is the message it conveys. And this book shares two important messages. First, it is okay to be different and stand-out in a crowd. Second, one can get along with individuals with diverse characteristics and be happy. All these make the book better and it can definitely be given to young kids in their developing years.
