This volume contains selections from the Fifth AINET International Conference on English in Multilingual Contexts. A variety of themes and issues pertaining to a wide range of multilingual contexts are represented in the chapters, which are organised in two broad sections of Explorations and Experiences. The contributions come from practicing teachers, manifesting not only a closer connection with practical and concrete aspects of teachers’ work-lives, but also a spirit of perseverance and experimentation as they strive to find ways around the hugely complex and challenging multilingual contexts they work in. A lot of insights, useful ideas and practical tips are available for the discerning reader of the collection.
