Re: Agile Noir

Agile is best learnt thru experience than just reading some book.. Its remarkable that the author has brought that learning thru experience in this book which is a rarity, also what a novel way to learn something, thru an curious story with fun and in the process learn and get sound fundamentals of what Agile is in its true essence. Author's hold on story telling and deep knowledge, experience and passion about Agile clearly stands out. A must read for everyone in IT!

Re: Agile Noir

apart from information about agile software development process, what stands out is the fictional style of writing. Fictionally depicting the process of organizational transformation and its challenges! Interesting and informative read!

Re: Agile Noir great book

It was great seeing Donny, Kartar, and Theckla figure out solutions to problems which apply to most companies facing Agile changes. Kartar reminds me of managers I have had in the past.

Oh my Agile!

It's all here! agile manifesto, scrum, even a little xp with tdd. The agile consultant is a godman wearing color who tries to reform kartar to do agile and not be a command and control manager. I learned so much through reading this story. I highly recommend. I don't know why there aren't more books like this. I hear there is a comic.

Re: Agile Noir

Loved reading this! I'll sharing it with all my team. It's perfect as we are going through our own Agile adoption. The work environment is similar to ours except auditors aren't so sexy. The way this is written, it's so interesting to read.
