Lezel Simons lives in South Africa. A Physiotherapist turned full time super-mom, dream-chaser, wild-heart and free-spirit. After the loss of her husband she embarked on a journey to rediscover herself and pursue her life long dream of being a writer which led her to poetry, down a path of spirituality and a journey of self-love. She has since published three poetry collections. Her debut She Was a Warrior All Along, her second book it all comes back to.. and her latest collection Love Evol speaks about love, romantic love, self-love and Divine love. Reflections of her life experiences, healing journey and spiritual awakening. I started reading and writing around the age of 4. I read incessantly. As a little girl I wrote stories and would make my own books. I've always had a romantic heart and there is just something about books and stories that is magical. Everyone should have and do things that feel magical and everyone has a story. A significant story. One that may inspire and motivate or bring a little love, light and magic to someone else. Your light and magic should be shared. For me experiencing loss and the painful moments in my life has helped me understand how precious life is and what it means to love and be love. This is what I share in my writing.
