Mahesh G Naik, is a Mechanical Engineer by Profession, having a Work Experience of about 32 years in Fertilizer, Chemical, Oil and Gas Industries. He has worked on various Senior Positions in Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited, Mumbai, INDIA and Qatar Shell GTL, the largest Gas To Liquid conversion plant in the world, in Qatar as Maintenance Engineer, Contract Management Lead etc. He has wide experience in the field of Planning, Maintenance and Contracts Management.

Apart from this Trekking and Astronomy remain his hobbies. He was president of the "KHAGOL MANDAL" the Largest Amateur Astronomers Organization in Mumbai for a period of 6 years. He has also penned a book on Comets in 1997.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and MAHABHARAT, the Largest Epic in the world remain subjects of his fascination. He is currently studying Mahabharata from HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE. His book on Krishna titled as KRISHNAKHYAN (currently available in MARATHI only) is also a result of this study and portrays KRISHNA as HISTORICAL CHARACTER, completely bound by the Physical Laws, instead of GOD, who makes miracles which are out of bounds of Physical World.

This book is a first part of his intended series in MARATHI, on the secrets of Mahabharata called as "MAHABHARATACHA RAHASYABHED". With this series he intends to bring out the logical reasoning behind various intriguing incidences as described in MAHABHARATA.
