There is a common belief that poetry can not be understood or written for the common man.While poetry is born of tremendous upheaval in the poet's soul there is no reason why it should only emerge in the form of pretentious or obscure language.
My writing of poetry came at a time when I was under immense stress.I found writing poetry the most cathartic experience in my life and the most therapeutic. It was fundamentally for myself that I wrote and had honestly no intention of ever publishing.It is amazing how verse can convey the most profound thoughts and feelings in such a pithy manner. I am now hoping to share my thoughts with a larger audience and find some resonance in their minds .The poems have different moods varying from philosophical to sad to the satirical to the comic. Some of the poems are also based on my experiences with actual patients I have given a sample of these varying moods to you.
