The book brings a life of animals at Animal Aid, closer to parents and children through a story of a little girl Maana and her dad who spend their day at Animal Aid shelter with animals.
The story tells in children's language what love and compassion is and what difference it makes how we perceive animals.

Throughout India, animals including dogs, cows, cats and donkeys live on the streets.
The story is set at Animal Aid Unlimited or AAU, an Indian animal rescue organization, based in Udaipur city of Rajasthan which rescues and treats street animals that are sick, injured, stuck or in need of urgent medical aid and attention.
They rescue thousands of animals every year and they use their stories and their work to inspire and engage both the local community and people around the world.
